I'm beyond exited!
I went to the Lurlene McDaniel message board after abandoning it for like a month and she had actually posted there! XD XD
She must had just done it too because she had only one reply ^^;
I had sooo many things I wanted to say to her, but I felt bad about doing it on the message board with other people trying to post too.
She had asked if people liked her new book and I basicly commented on that.
I managed to fit in that I liked to write too, and how about I just post the entire thing up on this website, and when she replies I add that too. ._.

I enjoyed all your posts, even the one from the reader who doesn't like my books. (It happens....) You all are the most wonderful readers in the world and I count myself very fortunate to have you reading my books. Yes, I know they can sometimes be very sad, but such is real life. Both my dear parents have died and I miss them everyday. I think writing about death makes it seem less scary, less intimidating. Death is part of the cycle of life. Sickness, a burden that many must bear. Yet, the kids I've met who struggle with illnesses and do something positive for all who suffer are MY heroes.
Thank you again for all your comments.

PS. Anybody read HOW DO I LOVE THEE yet? I wanted these stories to be about the strength of love.

I've recently been absent from this board, and I can't believe that when I come back Lurlene McDaniel has posted here.
I've always wanted to write to you but have never found the time ^^;
I love your books. I'm pretty sure I have them all now (besides the ones that are out of print.)
I have so much to say but I don't want to take up anyones time on here, and I've been meaning to write you anyway, so I'll just say I really like 'How do I love thee' so far.
I found Nightvision very diffrent but so very beautiful.
I haven't read 'Laura's Heart' yet, but I will be and I'm sure its wonderfull^-^
I'm sixteen, and I want to be a writer one day too.

I have new fish!
I have 2 goldfish (the other flew away :-) and Tiny Tim's all grown up! He was my silver, shiny fishie that we brought in last summer after the goldfish were *ahem* busy=p
Now he's gold, and skinny, but still tiny!
The Koi, who's silver, white, and black spotted with orange on the head, is HUGE! He's as big as those pond koi you see at Chinese restraunts XD
And! We have two new lil fishies!
We have a fishie just like Tiny Tim from last summer. I named it Thumbalena, cuz we need a girl fishie.
The other one is super tiny. I never saw Tiny Tim that tiny.
So we named him 'mole'.
Its a Chemistry term XD

There I've told three stories in three posts tonight. Isn't that amazing? ^.^

One of my guy friends asked me out on a date today.
He'd been hinting at it all week, although I'm lil too dumb to catch on T_T
I found myself alone in the sauna room (a warm room in between two doors at the back of our school) with him, and he had asked me to come to a hockey game and chinatown with him.
The usual question slips from my mouth; "are you asking me out on a date?"
Thoughts ran through my mind too.
Should I say yes?
But I remembered how uncomfortable I was with boys; alone.
I remembered how in every book or movie I saw I willed the characters never to date their friends. I just thought it wouldnt work.
My short lived 3 relationships in 16 years were never my friends first. Not even Jean Marc.
I barely new him.
Thinking about it now.. I wish he never asked.
Its better to stay friends, then go out together, have a falling out, and never talk again.
Like Jean Marc.

So my two cents for today is never date your friends.

I've been wanting to write in here alot lately, so I'll do it today.
I am so so proud of my new comic cover! Yes I'm vain today, but its my first real copic drawing and its so pretty!

I saw a little girl (not so little anymore) from my old elementary school when I used to lunch supervise the 3rd grade class, who I learned when I was in my first year of highschool,had been diagnosed with cancer.
My prayers went out to her back then, but I had no idea how to get in touch with her.
All I remember was the time she wanted to go to our school's infamous 'Pokemon club' and because I was in grade 8 I couldn't come with her.
More like I didn't want to=p
Anyway... I saw her in Harvey's on Saturday.
She's much bigger now, and was sitting with an older lady. She still didn't have any hair so I guess she's had a long run of treatments, but what I wanted to say was I admired how confident she was.
Here she was in a restraunt full of people, wearing a silly hat that she confidently takes off.
She doesn't care what anyone thinks. She is happy to be well.
She looked well, I think.
I wished I'd talked to her, but I was afraid she wouldn't remember me, and I wasn't exactly feeling so great either.
I'd like to say God bless you Skye, and keep well.

Meghan's Halloween Anime list pt. 1

Wanna scare yourself silly on halloween tomorrow, but you've seen all the 'Halloweens and Friday the 13ths'?
More specifically if you're an anime fan -.-
I've dedicated my last half hour tonight to stick up a few titles, with a breif review (I'm bored alright=p)

This one I really liked.
A high school boy who had an arranged marriage when he was six is about to be confronted by his now older fiancee, who isn't just jealous that he already has a girlfriend and has forgotten about the marriage arrangement, but she has supernatural powers that is putting him and his girlfriend in grave danger. 0_o

K, that really sucked as a review but yeah... I forgot what it was about=p
Check it out tho. Its a good Halloween scary ^.~

My favourite doctor out of the many many doctors I've visited over the past 5 years is my Gastrologest (sp? -.-) Dr. Lau.
I like her because she's trying to help me, and it seems like she is. Most of my other doctors just found me a complete puzzle that they couldn't solve so I was a broken toy tossed in the play box. I am an insolvable case I know, but at least I have some great people to help me.
I feel like this Doctor is sympathsizing with me. My visits with her are always just me to her face to face, and altho she has gotten what my problem is wrong a few times (not that it matters because she's close enough), I know she's listening to me. I don't withhold anything because I'm afraid of what she'd think either.
The funny thing is I think I've seen her the least of all my doctors, and yet I know her the most.
She once even took time out of her short visit to see my art, and find out that I was a writer, and she praised that idea.
My first visit to her she thought she had a solution to my problem too, which has been rare for me. It didn't work, but I felt good I had tried so early on.
Anyway, I like her for all those reasons, and because shes a younger doctor so I feel more secure around her. I love her accent (its so cute! ^.^) and I feel like I'm going for a chat with a friend. Except this friend has the potential to end my chronic something or other -.-
The nurse in the small office is really nice too:)
Another neat and interesting point I never thought I'd come across from a doctor was she used to live in Hong Kong and actually knows what anime is when I show her my art. She said she's seen some.

The only problem with all this is she can't cure me, and she's sent me to a few other doctors too. Today she said the same thing again, (although I had thought I wouldn't see her again after the last time she said that=p)
"I have no idea whats wrong with you."
But today I actually asked her about the other youth patients. She said that many kids my age come in with the same problem but the pantaloc (my first meds) got rid of it. I even asked her if ever she had treated anyone with the same untouchable symptoms of nothing like me. She hasn't.
So I figure I am all alone on this one, and it did depress me quite a bit when I heard it, but I feel better about it now.

I'm now up for another visit to a paediatric Gastrologist (still can't spell that >_<)
And maybe she'll light my candle.
But I'll always know, no matter what, Dr. Lau was the one who was the oxygen.

Hey I've been meaning to come on here but I haven't gotten around. I'd say this would be the best time to come.
Everyone knows whats happened today, it was really scary to hear about here in Canada knowing we can't really do anything about it, but might be targeted.
I was scared for my friend who's from New York and her family lives back there, but apparently eveythings OK.
Our school was always talking about it, but the teachers had been asked not to mention it to any of us. What do they think we are? Kindergartners?
Kids in 7th grade at elementary schools were informed.

My dad works at the tallest building in Toronto except for the CN tower, and it was evacuated and he was home about 10 minutes after me. Ottawa was a target too, and Canada has something to worry about because we're a 'dumping ground' for international terrorists, but for now my prayers and condolenses go out to Amercia, our cousin's to the South.

I'm watching '100 huntley street' thats doing a prayer on the events of today. I'll save my prayers tonight for this too.

What I've been wanting to say all week is something totally off topic, that I had to interupt my mom well she was watching the news about the terrorists. I have to go to the hospital next week.
But not just to see another specialist like I did on the first day of school, but I'm actually staying there.
I'm scared cuz its a stomach test and their going to put me to sleep, and stick a tube down into my stomach. After that I have to stay in the hospital til I wake up which wouldn't have been so scary if I got an appointment in the morning.
But its next Wednesday, at 3:00 pm so my guess is I'm staying over night.
I have to leave my graphic art class too! ;-;
I love that class.

I've never been in the hospital for as long as one of my appointments or to get stitches when i was 3 and in 8th grade.
And for some reason I haven't told any of my friends=p

Oh and in November I get to have another hospital stay in Missisauga at a really nice hospital called trillium where I saw my neurologist. He's going to do an EEG on me.
For pre cautions I guess, cuz he couldn't find anything neurologicly wrong with me. Which is good cuz that'd be scary!
An EEG is where they stick lil sticky things to your head well your sleeping (which means I get to stay up all night the night before, which im used to thanks to the blog a thon ^.~) and measure your brainwaves to find abnormalities.

So this year is my scary year, I'm sure everythings more scary for America, and I hope theres no war.
I've beat illnesses as have my mom.
We can't be taken by a war!

My prayers go out to the family and friends of all the victims of todays events and I hope it doesn't escalate anymore then it has.

I just got over the most annoying fever! I hated it!
Of course I'm cold *inside* all the time. Why?

So its hard to know if you have a fever.

i haven't been on here cuz I'm afraid if I do I'll blurt out everything that I can't stop thinking about.
I mean I'm high then I'm low. Yesterday I was so happy!
I mean I got to go to CN anime which was great. I now have a Ken-oh-ki. Very cute^-^
And a Gackt cd.
I also followed around this voice actor from all sorts of cartoons and anime, named Scott McNeil. One of my friends really likes him but didnt' come so the entire day was trying to get his autograph and doing everything for her benefit. I got abandoned a couple of times (but doesn't that always happen) and found the people we came to hang out with for awhile. Then somehow I became a fan girl and was whisked away to follow Scott McNeil around.
I'm not a big fan, but he was a really nice guy.
And when I got home my dad had gotten me a Tablet! I've always wanted one of those.

But now I'm sick.
My throat feels like its on fire but I still went babysitting (well my friend was at the con for the second day) and my back hurts, and i have a COLD!
Bleh
I'm sad too. I feel like none of my friends care about me. I know I'm helping by getting in depressions, missing school cuz I'm sick, and probably cancelling every thing either cuz I have a doctor's appointment, or im SICK=P

But no one cares. I try so hard to stay myself and no one appreciates it, just get mad on the odd time I cancel cuz I can't go on.
And thats how its come to thoughts of suicide, and maybe actually finding out i have a serious illness. Maybe someone would care enough to something nice for me like my friend did for her other friend.
It was such a nice thing though!
She got Scott McNeil to call my friend who's his fan as Piccolo (her fav voice he does), but because I'm shallow (or something) I wondered if anyone would do that for me.
I wonder if I was thought about at all when I couldnt' go somewhere cuz of my illness.
And this is about to bring me to tears.
I've never had a visitor to my house when I'm sick.
Mom just wants me to take these horrible tasting meds that aren't working, but she thinks they are. And every time I said that she said she noticed I was getting better.
I'm *afraid* to get better.
I don;'t know what its like in the real world.

last thing is everytime I have a head ache I'm forced to go outside and walk! Can't I just lie down.
Can't I just die?

fear factor is really really gross tonight.
I saw Princess diaries, but because the newspaper had the times wrong I missed 25 minutes of the damn movie =p
It was good, but kinda childish 0_o Not to mention there was a chunk of the story missing=p

And Tylor was Eriol (haunted freaky character from Cardcaptor Sakura) and I was Sakura with my BEAST Keroberos, and he had a black BEAST which was supposed to be Danielle's black lab, Emma but she was no where to be found;-;
We also teamed up and tried to kill Danielle :)

Guess what! I've watched 4 episodes of cardcaptor Sakura after sleeping in till like 12, playing on fmc (and learning to rpg).
I also fixed up my manga (cuz Sabastian just looked so bad at the begining=p) and listened to anime HARDCORE radio ^_~
Those are some cool online radio stations.

So that was my day.

What do I need to say?
Yesterday was a blast!
Me and Celesse took a bus to Burlington and blahed down around New street, (where they also is a anime store XD)
We had a very expensive lunch at Burlington's own 'Safe Haven' restraunt. 'Safe Haven' meaning "if you feel ill, distressed, or need someone to talk to they'll help".
Weird.. I guess its cuz it isnt' exactly the best part of town.
We had a lot of fun anyways^^

At night we went back and saw crazy/beautiful

It was a really good movie, and Jay Hernedez is HOT!

awww I just got an FMC email from this really nice girl on FMC who read my story I wrote over a year ago in 6 notebooks, and 200 pages on fmc XD
This is what she said^-^

Hi there... ^^ I have **no** idea if you'll get this... But I fell in love with your story "Security Blanket" ...I read the second part to it awhile ago *last year* without reading the first but still fell in love... It's soooo well done :) Then I decided last night while having an exciting brainstorm session, that I really wanted to read it all through. So I came on, looked you up and read... ^^ I just finished Part Two... And it made me cry.. like four times... I love it!!! :) But... I was sad to find there was no Part Three in any of your bios... That I could see... Is there one?? Or..? Did I make a mistake..? :(
I just wanted to say that it inspired me to write a story last year when I read Part Two... then now... looking back at what I've written and what I've read... It's almost the exact same thing... But... quicker... Stuff happens in a different order but I have all the same stuff... It makes me want to start again... *nods* I might... I have ideas... :) ...

Hey! I'm back now.
I've been kinda tired for obvious reasons^-^
I had a great time doing this event. And I hope all who came by enjoyed seeing it all come together.
We raised $20,000 dollars which is double the goal, and I'm proud to be a part of it^-^
Cat's got it written down that I raised $60, which is right.. but me, and my mom and neighbours are gonna send in some money too.
Mom's proud that even though I am sick I was able to do it. I'm just glad I'm able to help others in my position ^.~

My wonderful friends over at my oekaki encouraged me, but none so much as my wonderful friend, Katonoid.

I got to do my mom's food shopping today. Isn't that fun?^o^
I was tired, and couldn't get back into routine today, so I just stayed around my house.
At around 8tish my old friend, John who moved to Burlington last year came to the door! I was so happy to see him, I hugged him, which is funny cuz he was *sorta* my ex-boyfriend too.
So we just talked and talked, and my mom told him about what a hard year we'd had and he was so nice about it. Him and mom were always close^^
He ended up having Hailey's number! I'm so happy!
She was one of my friends who i met at CNanime when i worked there, but she keeps moving and I can't keep up with her telephone numbers =p
He said not to call til 12 am tonight as she goes out until then 0_o
He also told me some info I didn't know bout her, but I won't get into that....
I'm just happy i get to talk to her again.

ok no new pic this time cuz my clocks all say something different and I had no idea what time it was, or if I had any time to start=p
Ok.. My VCR clock says 10:06, well my computer clock says 9:58, and my clock beside me says 10:05 (Which is crazy cuz its my little alarm clock thats running low on batteries=p)
So according to my VCR I' m late. According to my computer I'm early, and my clock is just stupid :-

I cropped her lips. I think they are the best feature of the image cuz I just drew them right away.

Its like all the times I've gone on the evil bus from hell. The bus driver seems to peer their eyes into us and think 'they're gonna cause trouble'... of course in this situation they were... right. But thats not always the case!

I don't know what was up with our driver on Thursday. She wouldnt' give one girl a transfer! Just cause she had made her way to the back of the bus, and suddenly forgot that she hadn't gotten one, and when she asked, the driver's like 'you're too late'.
What was she supposed to do when she got to the train station? Pay again for a 10 minute ride?

Lisa was calling her the 'fat bitch', I didn't want to say that as I hadn't been there the day she drove us and never let anyone off until the go station.

It is my favourite pic done on my Oekaki, from one of my favourite book covers^-^
Its called Sadako and the thousand paper cranes.
It is about a girl in Hiroshima Japan in 1945 just after the bombing, and how she gets 'the atom bomb disease' as its called, but its really Lukemia.
Her friend brings her a paper crane she made, and tells her that if she makes a thousand that she could make a wish to be well again.
Its a very good book.

I found a very special picture to post for the first time.
It's from a series of books I'm really interested in. Ironically enough the books are about sick kids, like my charity.
I worked on this I think on a bus ride home with my friend, Celesse. I wonder what she's doing right now.

My one so called friend told me that I had NO life to be blogging for 24 hours straight for a charity. Of course I told him otherwise.
I mean what a HORRIBLE thing to say!
I've looked forward to this for so long, because I'm happy to be able to help someone well doing something I would have done anyways (except not for 24 hours XD)

I wonder what everyone else is doing. Actually I'm a little confused. Its a little after 3 and I'm still typing.. does that mean I'm late?
This is just the begining.
And my kitty's sleeping here too!
He's so cute.^^
Which reminds me to check out the blog with the kitties in it XD

There seems to be a problem with my computer (only would happen when i need it for 24 hours :- )

I'd say I had an ok day. I mean I got to babysat the kids and a little girl who's Declan's friend. Although they found it hard to agree on what movie to watch, they were great to be with. Especially when we went to the park with Muffin following us and when we heard thunder in the distance we all ran home hand in hand^^
The storm was bad. Muffin wouldn't even stay with me. When mom and dad got back they took me to take the movie back, and mom wanted to get a fro yo, but then she locked the keys in the car0_o
I met Dawna there. She's really nice, but I had to stay there all along until mom got my dad who wouldn't pick up the phone so he could pick us up.
Later we watched Castaway. It was good but way too long!

The main thing I need to say though is that I'm really sorry about the blog a thon. The list of participants who don't have enough sponserers but should be considered was sent out today and I knew I'd never be on it.
I've got one sponser which I'm so greatful for, but I think I'm going to have to ask for her to consider someone else.
Because I doubt in the next 1/2 hour I can get 2 sponsers.
Its really too bad, because I was looking forward to this. I even cancelled babysitting :(
If anyone whos reading this thinks I deserve a sponser, God bless you.
I just hoped to help out sick kids, because I think its great that its situated right here in Toronto, and that it can help so many kids. I'm also going to see a doctor who worked there in two months so I'd hope to be able to tell him about this.

I'm not exactly all that well myself, and theres been a couple of times where I thought I might have to go there.
I know what its like to be sick and not lead a normal childhood (in my case it was when I was eleven). I've been lucky and never had anything truely serious, but I've experienced the way it must feel like. So I wanted to help out the kids who do have something serious and are staying in that hospital.
I've probably said the same thing about a million times, and I'm sorry. But I haven't kept up this blog, and I know I probably don't have any 'daily readers', so I just wanted to say the reason I was trying to do this.

When I signed up I didn't know there was a limit of sponsers. If I had maybe I'd have tried to get this blog out in the open.
But I guess I'm a little scared to have it out in the open. I don't know what people would think of me.
I guess I really am scared.

So in closing I again want to say how sorry I am that I can't participate (I guess) and that I couldn't stay involved.
But I know I can find another way to help out this charity, and I'll do it someday.
I'd also like to say in response to one of the e-mails about the woman who's in a coma who wanted to participate I hope she gets well, and that someone can take over her blog for the event well she's recovering.
I'll be praying for her.

With summer school I've been so busy I haven't been able to keep up with how my sponser list is going. Its not going to well. I'm glad that Kimbley is sponsering me, although she hasn't replied to my e-mail:(
I hope I can find a way to get some more sponserers before next weekend, because I saw a commercial on TV for my charity about a little girl who's just six with Leukemia and how the hospital was trying to help her. I realized that doing this blog-a-thon could help her if only I could get more sponsers! Maybe if I tell fry kitty I'd like to do something special in my blog and she advertises it someone would want to help out. I was thinking about drawing a picture every hour. Or writing a short story. Its what I love to do^^
I can't do a bribe.=p Not good enough at Html. I'm also gonna ask my mom if I can sponser the blog that was running for the breast cancer society of Canada. I want to do something for my mom too:)
Its so late at night and I'm so tired! I have some advice. If you go to summer school and want to take the city bus back... DON'T DO IT!
It's crowded and kids at the back keep pushing the bell to get off but don't get off so that today the bus driver got so mad he stopped and called the police!
We were all transferred to another bus then. But it took an hour and half to travel a 10 minute distance to the GO.0_o
Well tomorrow I'll for sure set things in order. It's decided I'm gonna post a picture for my blog every hour, and a writing onthe normal 30 minute schedule. I'll e-mail Fry-kitty tomorrow^^

Just woke up from a short nap, and having the strangest dream.
I think being sick for so long has gotten to me.
I dreamt I had had an operation. I don't know for what, but I was in the hospital in a large pink bed, and I kept asking my mom (who was there, my dad was outside the room), why my bed was so big compared to the others. She didn't know. Then she left and I heard my dad and her fighting outside, but I didn't know what they were fighting about. Then I guess I fell asleep (which in real life I was), she came back in and felt my forehead. This is when I really thought the entire thing was actually happening.
She sounded really faraway, but scared and she said is she dying? I thought about this entire day in my dream. I thought how I couldn't be sick, and miss babysitting, and pass the 10th grade. I actually felt heavy, and far away, and found it hard to wake up after that.
Isn't that strange? I looked like a teenager in it so I hope its not some sort of 'events to come' dream=p
